Business Mailing Lists
The examples we have outlined above are extreme; you won't always be subjected to those extreme ends of the scale. If you're selling an airplane pilot's bag, it's more likely you'll see lists of people who are owners of airplanes compiled from plane owner registrations, pilots who own parking spaces at airfields compiled from airport owners' billing statements, people who have made purchases from aviation catalogs, pilots from flying license registrations, and those who have subscriptions to aircraft magazines. If you dig deep, you'll also come up with aircraft charter and leasing services, aircraft dealers, aircraft parts and auxiliary equipment dealers, aircraft schools, aircraft service organizations, airline ticket agencies, air transport services, and airline companies - just to name a few places to start your marketing.

Business Mailing Lists info: When you mail bulk rate you must order your list in zip sequence. A minimum of 250 pieces is required for bulk mail rates, and the mail must be sorted, rubber-banded and bagged by the first three digits of the zip. The first three digits directs the mail to the Sectional Center Facilities (SCF) of the post office for further distribution. It's not tough to do this, but additional post office rules apply to bulk rate mail. So before I get too technical, I'll just give a single paragraph about bulk and first class mail.
